I fell in love with Morgie almost right away, at 4 weeks old. Something about her tore at my heart. I had to have her.

She came to us in the late spring of 2003, once again from Penstaff. She is a cousin to our Annie.

Morgie fit right in with Annie and they were like 2 peas in a pod. And they certainly looked more like sisters than cousins. Of course Baron was in heaven with 2 beautiful girls in the house.

We tried our hand in the ring, but her heart was never really in it. She was very good at getting reserve winners bitch, but you could tell when she walked in the ring that all she wanted to do was go home. After trying to show her for almost 2 show seasons here, I just let her be. She was much happier at home with Annie and Baron anyway.

When Morgie was 2.5 years old, we put her to our good friend Ed's Australian import, CH Tykabul Vantage Point.

Morgie whelped 9 pups from the ensuing litter, losing only the last little girl. We kept back 2 boys, and one little white girl went to Ed.

At 6 months old, both boys I kept back were fairly equal in conformation, however Cartman was looking alot like Brogan. It was at that time that Lori contacted me, looking for a male she would be able to show. After thinking long and hard, Cartman went to Lori while I retained his breeding rights, and Loki stayed with me. There was a small health issue with Loki that I wanted cleared up before I could consider sending him to a new home anyway, so we went into the show ring, and did very well.

He went to his new home at 11 months old, just shy of his Canadian Championship by 2 points. I was willing to finish him, but his new people didn't care about such things. They wanted him for their little girl, so off he went.

When all of Morgie's pups were gone, we took a long look at her. She wasn't quite the same as she was before the pups came, and somehow she needed far more time and attention than we were able to give her. I was just starting to think about placing her when Ed was contacted by a young couple who lived not too far from him. They were looking for a Stafford. Ed had no pups but thought I still had Loki so he sent them to me.

They were heartbroken to learn I had no pups, and they seemed so very nice, I asked them if they would be interested in giving my Morgie a home. They were thrilled that I would offer them my girl, and promised me they'd give her the best home ever. So, my Morgie was spayed, and off she went.

The couple who took her absolutely adore her, as do their family.

She is truly is a happy and well-loved girl.
