My love of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier started the day I was born.
Although I have owned this breed all my life, and though I am a third generation owner in my family, I have only been breeding since 2002. Now, the love and joy the Stafford has brought into my life, I want to pass on to others.
I am a married mother of three children and I share my life with 3 Staffords, two of which are the foundation for my breeding program.
My husband and I are both Computer Technicians who currently work for the same telecom company. We live on 5 acres just outside the historical town of Merrickville, Ontario.
I believe in the love of a dog or dogs. My Staffords aren't pets, they are members of my family. Two of them even sleep in the bed between my husband and me.
I have only had 2 litters to date, both of which were born in my home, and all my puppies are home raised.
I spend my spare time in the conformation show ring and helping out my breed club, The Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of Canada. Fundraising, public awareness and promoting the Stafford are just a few things I get my hands into.
My breeding stock is based on strong Australian and English pedigrees. I have worked closely with Ed and Linda Lehner of Quarterback Kennels in Canada. I have looked to Joy Austin-Cleary of Tykabul Kennels in Australia for guidance.
My hopes for the future are to help wipe out the BSL threat to the Stafford world wide, to continue to breed true to type Staffords with the Nanny Dog temperament they are famous for, and to instill in my children the same deep love for the Stafford that I have.
